Trade Currency Converter
Convert between the world's invoice currencies using the ECB's daily reference rate. Rates are fetched once, cached, and work without a server on our side.
Common pegged pairs (fixed)
USD/AED = 3.6725 · USD/SAR = 3.75 exactly — Gulf currencies are pegged, so supplier invoices in AED/SAR never carry FX risk vs USD.
FAQ
Why can't you give second-by-second forex rates?
Real-time feeds require paid API contracts. For quotations, invoices and landed-cost math, the ECB daily reference (published ~16:00 CET, Mon–Fri) is the standard most accountants use — and it is free, which keeps this tool ad-free.
How do I get today's rate?
Open the page with JavaScript enabled: it fetches the latest ECB reference and shows the publish date. Cached copy is used if you are offline.
Why do my bank's AED or SAR rates look worse?
Gulf pegs are fixed (USD/AED = 3.6725 exactly). Banks add a spread on top. For cross-border payments, compare your bank against the mid-rate shown here; the gap is the cost of your payment rail.
What is USD/CNY vs USDCNH?
CNY is the onshore renminbi (PBOC-managed band); CNH trades offshore. For pricing goods out of China, suppliers quote CNY, invoices often settle USD — conversion drift between the two is a real margin leak.
